Sunny and 85...what do we do with a day like this?  Well we go to the Flea Market with the kiddos.  What a fun time walking around and picking up some fun new treasures.  Including a new bench for our new kitchen table being built!
We came home to play in the pool...Luke got out Tuggy the tug boat...a childhood toy of his.  Ephraim had a blast...
Have I mentioned Ephraims 2 favorite things Watermelon and Kettle Corn.  I think today might have been a perfect day for him!!!  Asher had a good time too!

Today I got to stay at home with the boys!!!  I love my every other Friday off.  It is amazing!  Today we hung out with Joanna, Roshini and Mira.  We went to the park and had a blast together.  Ephraim wanted all three of us to go down the slide together.  Who can say no to Ephraim when he just wants us all to be together?  I could not get a picture of that...
Unfortunately today was also vaccination day for both kiddos.  I was not ready for how much Asher would cry.  I cried.  Ughh that part was rough.  So, I promised Ephraim we would get ice cream afterwards!  Grandma and Grandpa met us at Countrymaid. 
We went home played with Daddy outside for a bit, ate and then ran off to see Jamie's baseball game. It was a VERY busy day, but it was a GREAT day.  It is days like these that I am so thankful for the opportunity to hang out with Everyone...Ephraim and I are relationship people and we got to pour into each other and our 'neighbors'  it was a day of learning and loving!  Teaching Ephraim and Asher to be the hands and feet of Jesus means living it out...

I love that Ephraim knows what he Loves...and he Loves watermelon.  I told him last night I was going to cut it up for him...and he grabbed his chair, grabbed a plate, grabbed a bib and stood underneath me and waited as I cut it up.  I am hoping the watermelon seeds that we planted survive and flourish this year so he will be able to eat watermelon from the garden. 

Asher is been sleeping a lot, not sure if it is because he is still fighting the remaining cold, or if he is growing.  I could sit here all night and hold him...wait I did sit for 2 hours in the middle of the night, more like early morn (2-4am)  holding him...

We Celebrated Mother's day and my 40th Birthday the other day.  WoW 40 years.  I thought I might be wiser by the time I was 40.  Most days I feel like I am just doing what I can to get through and invest in my children.  I don't have quiet time...I am not even sure what that is anymore.  BUT...I know that being a Mama has been the best gift. 
My mom is spending time with the kiddos and always looking for ways to invest in all the grandkids and teach them some traditions.  Here they are learning how to make homemade ice cream, a receipe from the Mounts side of the family.

My niece... she loves on Ephraim and Asher and for that I am thankful. She always takes the time to play, give hugs, be toted around.  I doesn't really surprise me that Brianna and Great Grandma K were the only ones to hold Asher.  They both have a heart the size of Texas!

My days are not filled with little giggles, hugs, kisses, or even tears...my days are now filled with questions and stress.  My parents get to love on my two little kiddos!  They do a great job.  Ephraim loves Grandpa and so does Asher.  My dad plays on the floor with Asher and gets him to coo and talk! 

Ephraim does say "Mama home"  and I wish that I could stay home with him all day...our new goal is March of 2021...That is the goal of being a stay at home mama!  I will run towards this goal...because it is running towards these precious ones that God has gifted to Luke and I!!

We are budgeting every dollar each month.  Which has been exciting and stressful for me.  I know that when I was talking about all the things I wanted to budget for in May...a new carseat, the garden, mother's day gifts, thank you gifts, etc...Luke was a little stressed and we talked about how we might need to wait on a few things.  Yesterday, God answered prayers in 2 big ways.  #1 my merit increase came through and was a lot more than expected.  AND Luke got the last sale he needed for the month in order to qualify for the sales bonus...He will make an extra $500 this month because some lady came up to him off the street, wanting to know more about Culligan Water AND he closed the deal!
Whoot Whoot- Praise Jesus for answered prayers!

SHOUT OUT...One of my friends at work knew this week was rough going back to work and she brought me the first fruit from her garden...Fresh Asparagus!  We had it with out Nachos last night.  It was amazing...I even took one off of Luke's plate when he wasn't looking.  LOL...Ephraim loved it and ate 2 stalks!  Sure glad in a few years our asparagus will be ready!!!  Thank you Laura!!!

We spent the weekend outside!  Working in the garden beds, finishing the strawberry/Asparagus patch.  We just need to get the stone delivered for our raised garden bed paths.
Luke went to talk to our neighbor who just sold his house and was having a garage sale.  He came back with a crossbow and a plan to take down the tree stand on our neighbors property.  So, my hopes of filling our freezer with venison and saving on our grocery bill is becoming more of a reality.

Ephraim loves to climb.  "I climbing"  is often heard.  He climbs everything.  On to the 4-wheeler, on the ladder, on momma, on the counter...LOL he is one fun boy!!!
