Thankful for a co-worker who stayed late with me to help me do my first solo close!  It was great because they had changed my security level and I wasn't able to run one of the closing reports!

Lost wallet found...we searched high and low and over and over again...I finally said we should call and cancel your card...he growled and continued searching...
Apparently you need to look in the couch a sixth time to find it!!!  Happy Happy Joy Joy

Day #74

Spring and Fall Luke serves in Voltage by being Gordo...one of the nerdy characters in a production our church puts on for the kids and parents.  Today was that day!

I brought Brianna a long to help serve by setting up and to attend and do something fun!!!  Fun she had...it was great to see Jim and Ben and Brianna come to life!  They all had a blast!  Thankful for people who invest their time in others and to help others have a safe environment and a safe environment to learn about Christ!

Day #73

So, today started out to be a day to move the few things I had at my parents...which I guess turns out to be a lot of things I had at my parents!  But we moved everything out, except my clothes and a few stray bags.

BUT the exciting part is my brother took my grandma's old dresser sets, sets...yes BOTH of them.  So, that frees up some room in the garage...and then my dad took some of my grandma's stuff to Salvation Army which was super nice....AND then...Luke and my Dad went to pick up the Furniture!  Surprise!

Looking more and more like a home!

Day #72

Snap, Snap, Snap....well...really only one snap...but the mouse in the kitchen is no more...RIP annoying little guy!

Thankful today that Columbia Gas came out to hook up the meter and inspect the gas line installation...We passed with flying colors!  And now we have a range top that works!!!!!

Blessed that my job allows me to work from home when I need to!

Day 71

Tonight was my first night in the new house. The house isn't complete yet, but it is very livable!  So, I am braving my first night here...even with the new found mouse!  Thankful for this wonderful house and excited for the memories!

Tired = Grouchy...and I am kind of done with both of them!  

Tonight was the last night of Skeeball...but as skeeball ends volleyball will begin soon!

Birthdays are FUN...Birthdays mean CAKE...Birthdays mean a special DINNER...Birthdays mean PRESENTS...But the best part of Birthdays is getting to celebrate someone!  Tonight we celebrated Moses 37th Birthday.  Love being part of MoJo's lives!

Picked up my niece as the packers/movers were at her house and she is uneasy about the move and a new school...Spent some time with her...I put clothes away at the new house, and she washed dishes while Luke dried...All while be being the best darn pirates we could, Arghhhh

Luke and I had breakfast at the new house and unpacked some more stuff...I have a lot of STUFF...I am going to enjoy the freeness of working towards being simpler!  Thankful for the morning before I went and worked the last 2 vision gatherings for the next 3 years!!!!  Wooooohooooo

Thankful for a night where Luke and I get to see each other and hang out!  Went to the winery to share a GF pizza and then watch the cavs game!  It is so amazing how much can happen in a week and all we have to catch up on.
This week we were both exhausted working long hours at work and after work, and by the end of the week it was a learning experience on how to be thoughtful in what and how we say to each other!

Today I am thankful for my bed!  Yep, I felt like a kid talking to Luke tonight...I had to talk a million miles a minute and wouldn't let him talk because if I stopped...I just might crash.

Thankful to be able to help my brother paint for a little bit at his new house.  He is rushing to try and meet a deadline to move his family...and I know he is feeling the pressure.  I wish I was more available to help.  Luke has been the bomb and has helped them numerous days.

Breakfast together!  OUR favorite.  Thankful for my father who helped us move all the garage sale boxes out of the house!  He is a trooper!

Our turn to attend the Vision Gathering!  Spent the morning listening to the vision of Grace for the next 3 years...and I am excited...

Work till your finished.  Thankful for the energy today to go through ALL the boxes...worked till 10pm unpacking, repacking, and throwing things out!

Challenging one another is a good thing, but it is a hard thing.  Trying to do it in a loving way...and I often feel like I have failed... God knows our hearts and I pray that we can convey that clearly!

I had calling hours tonight.  Chuck lived to be over 100 years old.  Last year we helped celebrate his 100th Birthday by watching him throw out the first pitch at the Indians game.  And tonight I said Good-bye to a young at heart man. 

Life is but a glimpse...as a good friend reminds me...we must live the crap out of it, while we are here!

Luke and I started sharing 2 things each that we want to pray for each week.  Lately, we don't often see each other or only for a quick moment...but knowing that we are praying for the same things each week, helps to know we are on the same page, I find joy in praying together as a team!

Unpacking...my "things" have been in boxes for the last year and a half...tonight I had some time to go through some of those boxes.  It is crazy some of the amazing things we keep that have such happy memories, and then the things we keep that remind us of sad times.  I am going through my boxes and simplifying my life...these are just things...It is refreshing to have less stuff!!!!

Thankful for the Free Burrito from Chipotle!  Love sharing a meal with this handsome man, specially when it is free!

Two vision gatherings again today.  Thankful for the hour afterwards to catch up with Luke in the evening.

Moving Day.

So many awesome people came to help.  The J's, My parents, My brother, Caleb, Levi, Greg, Duane, Moses and Kristen...Everything is out of the Storage Units.  WOOT, WOOT!  I wish I had pictures, Jenny took some.  But the one bedroom was stacked ceiling to floor with boxes and the other bedroom is packed full of furniture.  Now the real fun begins going through the boxes.

So thankful for supportive family and friends!!!
