Thankful that I got to spend the day at the zoo with my niece.  The rain held off and we got to walk around but a lot of the animals were missing that she wanted to see. No polar bear and no giraffes.  She is going to be a great Business woman....I told her she could get one thing, she picked a toy out and then another one and held them together... looked at me and said...." um they are best friends and can't be separated so we have to get both so they don't cry!". LOL  I am the mean aunt who then said " well we better put them both back so they don't get separated"....don't worry we got a noisy flute

Honestly Thankful I don't have to work tomorrow and thankful that even though I have a ton of stuff to do I have come to the conclusion I can't do it all. :). I am excited to support my niece's school at Sweet Frog tonight!!!

Thankful for Grandma Dot. She gave me a vox of Honey bell oranges and they are great. There were so many that I shared with dome friends! Bibs are necessary as they are juicy!

Thankful for the great tradition my Grandad started with us of going to Burton for an all you can eat pancake breakfast that supports polio. Which my grandad contracted when he was 32! We have been going ever march for 35+ years.
I followed that up serving with my Life Group ....always a fun-filled time supporting power kids with their Voltage initiative.

Thankful that I got to spend the evening with my niece.  She is such a fun loving girl....we played doctor where she curred me of the ants in my mouth that were causing me to cough, by cutting my hair and making me eat it.  Yep WILD imagination.  We went to church where her eyes lit up when she saw and old friend, Michael.  She went to dinner with my friends and she had a great time playing with Hannah!  We grabbed some Menchies and watched a little Frozen and then Bed. 
What a day...God is Good!

Day #79

Long days at work and trying to keep up with my nightly commitments has meant my workout time has taken a hit.  I am so thankful that I made it a point today to workout, even if it was for a quick 4 mile run before Celebrate Recovery.  It felt so good!!!  I need to try to continue to just stop working and go workout!!!  Because it gives me more energy and well, it puts a smile on my face!

Thankful for my sister-in-law who is always cheerful and so greatful!! Thankful we get to carpool!!! We had a wonderful evening at p.f.changes celebrating her and then some yummy pure delite cupcakes!!!

I had the best sleep I have had probably in a year...5 solid hours of sleep!!! So thankful for deep sleep that helped me get a great night...and I had one of the craziest dreams!!!

Seriously don't think anyone would believe my crazy day. God was so helping me out today!!! I will just tell you about the end... I am thankful I made my flight home!!!! Mix up with the first taxi, 2nd taxi was swamped and was sending someone but no one was available, 3rd taxi said 10 minutes...which wax great but by this time it was 3pm and my flight left at 3:55. I told my taxi driver as he picked me up at 3:13, I was in a rush and he was like a turtle but I got to the airport at 325....there was a long line at security but as i walked up they opened a new lane and I got through immediately...the nice man let me "hop" in front at screening...and then my gate was #7 and normally it is #25....I got there as they were seating B passengers! The Lord is good because I am home!!!

I was able to go see an old garage ms girl in her high school play, ladies sigh no more...a comedy on the ladies of Shakespeare's plays. Thankful I was asked to go, means a lot when a kid asks a couple volunteers to go support them :) and thankful several of my life group peeps went with me. The play was funny and a different way to spend a Saturday night. And AG did a great job!!!

Our life group has been studying the book of Galatians for the past 6 weeks. Tonight was our finally night in this great book! So thankful that God leads us to hear exactly what we need. So many people where stretched and eyes opened from reading this book, this girl included! Love our memory verse for the month of Feb....straight from Galatians and fits our theme on sacrifice!!!

Anyone who knows me, knows I have a slight fetish with jackets and hats...well this raspberry jacket...I toyed over whether or not I should buy it because I didn't need a new jacket. On Monday this jacket proved it was worth the clearance price I paid for it!!! Thankful for the omni-heat jacket that kept me super warm on Monday night/morning as I was stuck in the cold wind on my journey home. #joyin365journey #omniheat

Thankful that God removes temptation! I bought these jelly beans fully knowing I was going to give up sugar in a few days. Sitting on the counter I was so tempted so I moved them on a different counter a little more out of sight. I decided I was going to put them in the cupboard...when I dropped them on the floor. Flee temptation or drop it...watch it spill...sweep up like trash...throw away temptation!

Thankful that a girl in our life group, Kelly, decided she wanted to tell the world she has accepted Christ's invitation and God is working and transforming her! I love that she had officially termed baptism as goosh, goosh!

Something I have struggled with my whole life is asking for help. We are taught to be self-sufficient and because I am not married even more so...maybe 6 months ago I read an article about needing to ask for help...even when we can do something we need to ask for help. It humbles us...makes room for God to work.
So THANKFUL that God is working in my heart to not only ask for help when I can't do something BUT to accept help even when I can do it myself. In the past I would only accept help from one person.... but God is working to make me vulnerable with others!!!

Played volleyball with my life group and some of my friends from Whitey's! I am so Thankful after 4 years I was able to make contact with the volleyball when hitting and wasn't in extreme pain. My shoulder hurts but nothing like it used to!!! It has been a long journey of constant therapy, pain, and trying to get motion back after they had to reattach my arm! :).
