Day #243

Joy in the quiet moments of the morning...where I can have my tea, a scone, and one egg (have to have protein)...all while reading my book 7 on a cool Saturday morning...before the crazy clambake day starts. 

Day #244

Joy...I feel like I really accomplished stuff at the house.  Luke always accomplishes stuff but I feel like I never do anything of real value.  Well today I painted the ceiling in the big bedroom and I did the trim work on all the walls.  Luke painted the walls and mudded the bathroom...we had a great day getting stuff done...still a long way to go, but we are moving forward.  Pictures coming soon :)

Day #242

Thankful my boss let us out at 2pm today after working late last night and starting  at 5am.  I was able to head to the house and get a few things done.  Thankful for Austin and Lorrie who made a great dinner for us before we watched 10 crazy kiddos

Thankful that Luke and I were able to help pick up Tables and Chairs for the clambake.  Joy in being able to serve others...57 people will come over on Saturday for I believe the 24th annual clambake!

Joy in the guys in our life group giving up their evening to help move a wood burning stove for Luke and I.  Big thanks to Mike Brooks, Greg Stutzman , and Jim Beres!!! I know I didn't get to bed until 11pm and they live a lot farther away...These guys are the best...and they always make it FUN!!!

Joy in the little things like gluten free pasta at a restaurant...even though my shrimp dish only had 2 shrimp...they were tasty.
More about the company and getting to spend time with the people my parents have invested in and vice a versa!

Joy in talking Blindspots and the tough stuff in our lives.  There is no judgement or condemnation when we fail...just honest biblical advise and love!  Beyond Blessed that God brought her into my Life!!!!

Joy in watching 3 year old Josiah fall in love with his B-day card from his Aunt...by far his favorite out of ALL his gifts.  Singing cats, who knew?

Joy in having a cup of coffee with cinnamon toast while my feet bask in the sun...before we spend sometime in prayer.  = perfect morning together!!!

Yep...I am skipping several days...not because there wasn't joy in them, but because I was gone and I am very far behind.

Nothing Like Joy in helping a friend paint a couple rooms in her house while her husband is out of the country.  Love that several of us could love on them!!!

Joy in seeing old co-workers...I truly miss everyday with these special peeps from Bridgestone.  Looking forward to our already scheduled next gathering.  We have shared life together for the past 5 years and I love them dearly...
