May 4th 2027

Hadassah turned 4!  She got a bow for her birthday and she is a natural.  She had so much fun.  I watched videos of Ephraim and Asher getting to hold her for the first time when she was born.  Asher pro used to protect her and be a good big brother.  Ephraim sushes her when she was crying and was able to calm her down.  My constant prayer as siblings they would love and support one another through thick and thin!!!  Uriah was too little to hold her butan does he look out for his best bud!  Sharing with her quiet often!!!

Ice cream sillys...kids helped with stacking wood yesterday while Luke was gone at a plumbing job...Was a great spring day...got to chat about heaven having streets of gold.

Easter with our families..

Started with communion in our rooted group.  What a time together worshiping, loving on Each other, remembering God's sacrifice and how we were saved when HE gave his life on the cross but daily He is sanctifying us. and looking toward the future and all being with Jesus!'. 

Then we hosted my family for Easter Lunch.  It was great to have everyone together and enjoyed a little Easter egg hunt together.

This past Sunday on Easter we had Luke's mom side over.  Lots of fun celebrating Jesus resurrection!  Sang Amazing grace together, did Easter bible trivia and also had an egg hunt for the kiddos.  

Days are hard and filled with lots of stress but knowing Jesus is one of the best decisions I have ever made.  Praying all my kiddos know and love Jesus.  

April 4th 2026

Today Ephraim made Brownies by himself and even cleaned up washing all the dishes.  The rule was you had to eat two green beans to be able to eat a brownie.  It was rough for Uriah who can't stand green beans.  Ephraim cheered Uriah on the whole time, you got this, you can do it.  He ate one and then Luke allowed Uriah to have 5 carrots in place of his 1 green bean.  Ephraim again decided in solidarity to stand with Uriah and not eat his brownie until he was able to eat his brownie.  He only ate the crumbs 😀

March 15, 2026

A warm day means Ice cream fun!!! I took the kiddos to get ice cream while Dad was in class.  Ephraim was very helpful today helping to clean up after his siblings and himself and listening right away all the way.  While Hadassah decided to push all my buttons and even called me annoying twice.  God helped me have patience and not let anger over come me!  

March 9th 2026

Today was Uriahs first opportunity to serve at Feed my starving children.  Kate and Tyler came with us.  Uriah did great doing veggies and helping pack bags. Although he says he does not want to do it again.  

We packed 196,300 meals just shy of the 200k goal they were hoping for.  Sexy beard nets this year!!  

January 26th

Snow day!  Kids went ice fishing at Zolton's.  Kristina and Michael are very thoughtful in inviting us.  They had so much fun.  Ephraim and Uriah caught a bluegill.  Asher kept his line to close to the top.  But he still had fun!  

January 16th Smurf Day

Gameday...I got to watch Uriah play...so fun.  He is the rebound king!  It was a joy to my heart to be able to watch him.

And we got to celebrate Nana's bday!  Nana loves smurf's!!!  Well she loves her Grandkids who all love to tease her with smurfs...because if you say the word...you will get thrown in the ocean!!!!

January 15th Snow day!!!!

4 inches of snow resulted in the kiddos having a snow day. Snow day started with Asher shoveling the driveway and then Ephraim came out to help. They worked together to get the job done and had some fun along the way, shovelling the whole driveway!   Luke and the kiddos made chocolate cupcakes with strawberry cream cheese frosting.  They had a fun day staying home with Dad playing soccer and football in the attic.

January 12th 2026

Today is Nana's Birthday.  She is Hadassah's BFF. She is the boys wingman in soccer.  She is our take things up a notch in fun!  We are so blessed to have her close by.  We celebrate who God has made her and how she has allowed God to use her. 

She is explaining by example how her and her siblings went sledding as kids.  The kids thought this was so fun!

January 10th

GAMEDAY!  

Today was the first set of basketball games and Uriah's first game ever.  Luke is assistant coaching Ephraim and Asher and I am doing Uriah.  It is good to be outside my comfort zone in serving.  

Thankful today for Brad and my Uncle who came and helped with my Grandma and Mom.  Mom is recovering from her knee replacement surgery.  I was able to go watch Ephraim and Asher and also Go to church instead of watching it.  

Thankful for Nana and PopPop to come watch and cheer them on, but also help with the kiddos since I wasn't there.  Especially since Uriah had an 8am game

January 9th, 2026

I got to listen to the sweetest thing today.  My Grandma at the age of 97 reading to Hadassah at the age of 3.  Hadassah's middle name came from my Grandma's middle name.  Irene.  They share a special bond together.  My grandma has a hard time seeing but the book Hadassah picked out had some big bold letters and she read her the whole book about a Daddy's love.  

January 8th 2026

Today was a whirlwind.  My mom had her knee replacement surgery. I spent the day with my grandma getting her meds.  Went to calling hours for Ben Hartzler.  Had my first gameday practice.  Came home and helped Grandma with her meds and getting ready for bed while helping the youngest three get ready for bed. 

The only way I made it through today was because of God and his strength. He provides what we need when we need it.  

Tonight during the devotional we learned how God is unstoppable and his love is unstoppable!!!  

My heart breaks for the J's.

January 5th 2026

Today was all about getting in a routine in the new house.  First day back at school in the new house.  We should have it down by the end of the week.  At dinner we prayed for someone on our hearts...Ben Hartzlers family as they miss him, Grandma's upcoming surgery, Kristina in Guatamela to share the gospel and bring physical healing, Moses and family as he starts his first week back in the office 5 days a week, Great Grandma Moine who is sick, and All the people God created!  I love the hearts of our little kiddos.  

We tried to make the evening fun by going on a night walk after we ate dinner We had some fun lights in the dark.  We also played their new favorite game Catch the Crook.  Asher won!!!!  

The days are very long and short at the same time. 

January 4th 2026

Today was a special treat!  Ephraim made eggs toast and my coffee as a surprise!  He is such a good guy, watching his Dad and emulating him!  

Watching the Browns last game of the season with Ephraim today made me wish Ephraim got to watch it with Grandpa when he was this age.  They would talk stats and hype up or down the room with their energy!  

Today we went to our old house at 19973 State rd...my Grandma's old house to get a few things.  There is still a lot there.  But I was overcome with emotions.  It had the smell of my Grandmas house.  While I love our new space I miss our old space.  I want both in some ways.  10 years in that house, 10 years of memories ...maybe we will just rent it out.  Because I might not be ready to part with it yet...haha

January 3

We bought a pokemon costume for Ephraim several years ago, but they sent something other than pokemon and they told us not to send it back and to keep it.  I brought it out for Hadassah today...she loved it!!!  Queen Hadassah!!!  

The boys were cranky yesterday so I made them go lay in their beds for a bit...they both fell asleep.  Ephraim went down to Grandma's to help her take down her tree. 

We went to church for the 1st time in a MONTH, sickness and Holiday parties have kept us away. I have felt off not being at church.  So it was so nice to be back, Worshipping together.
