Thankful for refreshing time with two dear friends.  Love them to pieces they restore me.

Thankful that God makes a way and that He is the one that provides.  Trusting in Him with the house and all that will unfold.  Luke and I planted a couple raspberry bushes at the house...might be awhile before we see fruit but...yum when we do!!!

Day #116

So thankful for ALL the people who supported our Mexico City Go- trip through praying for us and financially supporting us and then coming out to hear about it.  Moses and Luke's grandma tried the mango suckers...
We had a great time sharing why we went and how we have grown because of it.  Spent some time talking about the next trip and what it looks like and our vision for being a part of the network of churches!

Day #115

We are trying to visit new ballparks and towns.  For our friend Greg we got him a ticket to the Detroit Tigers indians game. 
We had a memorable time!!
Greg's GPS took us to Canada...we had to be escorted out because we'll we didn't want to go to Canada and there was a big sign that said no re-entry to USA!!!
The Indians lost and it was cold buy we definitely had fun!!!

Day #114

Thankful to be able to exercise and play with my niece.  She "beat" me running today and won a big pink ribbon. 
We went to dinner to celebrate my brother to his favorite mexican.  See we are totally related!!!
I prayed in espanol and then said the same prayer in English and my niece was like I knew it, I knew when you said Brad that it was daddy, but that was the only word I understood. 

Thankful for family times!

Day #113

So blessed that as a group we were able to get together again.  It was the first time after we returned from mexico.  I wish I would have taken a group photo.  It was refreshing to be back together again talking about mexico and what is new in our lives.

Thankful that we have been blessed by Lisa and her leadership as well as friendship.  Excited as she closes the door to a 9 year journey to see where God directs her!

Day #111

Thankful for time spent catching up with a friend. Thankful that God is always revealing His plan little by little even when it is not the plan we were hoping for...it is realizing it is exactly what we need!!!

Today my "old" co-worker...old because I no longer work at Bridgestone...so maybe it is my "young" ex-co-worker...She drove really far just to visit with me and watch us play vball in the cold.  And to top it all off she even brought me her famous homemade beet horseradish!!!!!  I am super thankful for her continued friendship and support!!! Miss her everyday!!!

Thankful for the time we got to spend with Luke's sister and BIL at church followed by lunch at the Boat House. 
It was a fun filled weekend.  Celebrating Dan's life and then catching up with Luke's family.

Thankful for the gentle reminder that we are leaving a legacy.  That little eyes are always watching are every move...Even if we aren't parents...we can still have an impact.

Thankful for a safe journey to Indiana with Luke and Greg.   Super thankful for Hannah and Beth who filled in for babysitting for Luke and I tonight.

Thankful that our life group was engaged even when discussing things that seem to be basic on our walk

Thankful for the laughter in what seemed like a daunting task of finding a box spring set buried in my storage unit.  As boxes were falling and things caving in, that we could just laugh.  Thankful that we were able to sell a bed as well as help a friend out!!!

Working from home has a benefit.  Got to talk a walk at lunch with my mom and crazy niece. 
Thankful for the fun time playing volleyball last night!!!

Day #102

Thankful to be able to work on the house.  We took measurements and we also turned part of the garden for the first time.  I am ready to get started.  I don't like all the snakes though...ran into 3 of them...all right by the front of the house. 

Day #101

Thankful that Luke and I got to visit with an old co-worker and hopefully make life easier even if just for a moment.  Loved that we got to laugh and catch up. 
We stopped at a Mexican grocery store and they didn't have my boing guava juice :(  but they had mango.  So when we checked out I asked in espanol....and we got 6 guayaba :)  One happy girl!!!!

So, my dinner last night had a heart shaped strawberry in the middle....
Today I am thankful for the time to hang out with my brother...thankful that Luke made that happen!!!!

I think someone cares a whole lot for me.  I have had stomach issues since I have returned from Mexico.  Luke went to grocery store and got a ton of non gmo, gluten free stuff.  The naked truth...filled with probiotic for my crazy digestive system

Back in community.  It was great to be back with our life group talking about what God is doing in our lives.  Thankful for the but then!!!

Tonight was the last night of our connect group.  1 Peter has been a great little book.  There is a famous verse in the last chapter.  But when we proclaim it...we always forget the verse before it...
1 Peter 5:6 NLT

So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor.

Thankful that both my mom and dad who came to the airport to pick us up!!!

Today I was supposed to speak on God's amazing love using a hard boiled egg as an example.  Well no hard boiled egg and not even an egg...so I used an oreos to explain the gospel message.  Crazy but it can be done.

Today is the last day of camp and it is sad how quickly the last few days have gone...but God is definitely transforming each and everyone of us!!!!  Thankful for all the meetings and vision casting

A serious game of kickball or foot base as it is called in Mexico City reminded me of how thankful I am that when language is missing we can connect over sports!!!

Thankful for the times you put us in difficult situations that seem impossible.  Only then do we fully rely on you and grow into the person you have for us!!

Thankful for all the people who took the time to write encouraging letters to the mexico city team...they were filled with great scripture, prayers, pictures, and candy!!

Thankful for Amie who hand delivered leader guides, books, insurance cards and shirts to me from the church. 

Enjoyed the opportunity to take Jimmi and Lia to the airport dark and early this am.

Thankful to have God work in my heart to show me How HE orchestrates things and His plan is perfect!!!

Thankful that I was able to spend a few moments with my niece before I leave for Mexico City.  She just wanted to be able to play in my room with my things while I was gone.  She is going to miss me when I move out!
