So Thankful for Greg and his friendship with Luke and I. He truly has a servants heart. We made lots of progress today at the house in just a few hours.
Plaster and lath removed from wall. Glass tiles removed and saved. Pink plastic tiles almost all gone. First treatment of poison ivy done...
It was a rainy day which hindered some plans for moving stuff to the house. But we managed to take a few things. I was able to mow the grass and Luke tore up the carpeting in the hallway and family room. We put up a new mail box. It is the little things. Thankful we could spend some time shopping at home depot and find a ceiling fan we both like!!!!!
I really love Friday's. Everyone is in a better mood and the days seem to go by quicker. Today held lots of promising things for the future!!!

So thankful for our espanol only speaking dinner tonight at Casa Del Rio. Our waiter was excited that we were speaking espanol. He was from Mexico City but hasn't been back since 2005.
It was good just to be speaking even though our conversation is limited we help each other out!
Thankful that we were FINALLY able to close on the house. I am now the owner of a small farm house in North Royalton...situated on 6 acres. Now the work can begin...

Today was Chuck Yasenka's 100 Birthday. He threw out the first pitch at the Indians game tonight. 104 friends were in attendance for this fun celebration. Thankful for gathering together and celebrating his life!!
There are always firsts. Today Luke met Christa and Shelton. Friends of mine for a long time. Thankful for the time of catching up and looking forward to the next gathering. It was great to watch Tyson and Jackson play flag football!!!
Thankful that I can take a few steps back and let Greg and Lisa do their own thing!!! Thankful we got to sit outside for group and enjoy the wonderful weather we have been given!!

Workday at the house. Took off all the asbestos shingles and then tore down the wood shed. Still lots to do but progress is being made. Thankful that Luke and I get to do it together.

Draft night at Ray's it is tradition...mind you it was the most uneventful draft. But had a great time with mike, ben, hannah, and luke!
