Grandma K's birthday celebration. She is strong, she is patient, she is full of big strong hugs, she is fun and playful, she is encouraging, she is always in for adventures and first times... she is my Grandma and I love her dearly!!!
My grandma always knew our favorite meals, they would drive us 45 minutes to go to get a hot dog, her and I would decorate her house for christmas (she went all out), birthday presents always involved time together, I learned how to play tripoley from her, she showed me what it meant to work in a garden, and how to be hospitable, most of all she showed me the importance of big hugs and telling people how special they are!!! I love you Grandma!!!
Thankful in all the home renovations today was the first mishap and thankful it only resulted in a chipped tooth. It could have been worse.
Dinner with a friend who is broken hearted and looking to God's plan in his life not his own desires! Inspiring!
It is the little things like being able to cook meatloaf and pasta on a grill. Maybe in a month we will have a stove installed at the house.
Was able to help a friend out and bring them a meal. Keep praying for the Nichols family as they process through emotions on losing a brother and son.

Thankful for an evening to work on the house. I was able to get a lot of tile work done.

I hate late games...playing volleyball at 10:45 pm is TERRIBLE. We are terrible that late at night. BUT....I wouldn't want to do it without this great group of people. There is Joy in doing something you don't like doing with great people!!
Thankful how God works things out. I was supposed to Babysit at the church but there was only 2 kids...so I got to go "home"...which was great that I was able to go spend the afternoon with the Nichols kids.
Joel and Jenny came over to the house and put the ceiling drywall up in the bedroom. What a hard job!!! Thankful beyond words!!!
Kristen also came and helped clean tile and scrape the cupboards...moses stopped by and sanded a door, and Greg ordered the wood for our countertops and the covering for the beam and is working on staining it, and he put the strapping on the beam...Busy day at the house and once again thankful for friends and family that call and say "hey you working at the house? Want some help?"
My one big project is the bathroom tiling the floor and the tub. It is coming along.
Been a long week and I am exhausted...
Thankful and sad but no kids showed up at Celebrate Recovery. So, Luke and I went home and read philippians and ended the night at 9pm, Thankful for the repreave!!

God works in awesome ways have been overwhelmed with lots of things to do...I was supposed to call and ask to borrow a tool from someone and just had been putting it off for the past couple days. I had posted a pic of us at the game and got a text from my friend who I needed to reach out to...they were at the game. Boom!

An evening at the house working on the bathroom again...Luke went to a baseball game and Hannah and I painted the ceiling and walls. Once again awesome to be working and sharing life...thankful for friends are willing to meet at the house with a lite elbow grease instead of starbucks!!!
Moses and Joanna rock! God couldn't have brought more amazing peeps into our lives. They came over to help us on the house tonight. I got to talk to Joanna while we worked in the bathroom. Moses and Luke talked while they worked on the basement wiring...there is something good about working along side of one another and connecting!!!
Golfing with Erik and Austen today...Austen ' s Christmas gift. We had a great time laughing and soaking up the sun even if it was a little chilly. Thankful for gifts that encourage relationships!!
Thank You God for Christa. Today is her birthday and a day to celebrate how amazing you made her...generous to the core and loving of her neighbor. I thank God for her salvation. Her name is written on the floor of Grace church...I never would have imagined that when I prayed for her salvation...that she would lead a small group of ladies in youth group, that she would be involved in prison rehabilitation or leading an adult small group...God can change hearts and ignite passions.
Thankful to share a starbucks this morning and "set-up" for a garage sale.
Stressful days at work are hard but hanging out with a bunch of crazy kids...tends to cheer me up...till I have to go home and work again. :(
Joyful that so many people are coming around Kell as she fights breast cancer...on-line fundraiser tonight. Praying as she fights and gives ALL the Glory to God!
I skipped group this week. I had coffee with my cousin, there is Joy in sharing struggles, celebrations, and prayers!!!
I also blanched the beans by myself tonight instead of with help. Now I second guess my decision to read with Luke instead of doing the beans. 3.5 hours later the beans are cleaned and blanched and we have 8 quarts for the winter and some for now.
Joy in stopping what was planned for the evening...blanching a 5 gallon bucket of green beans...to relax and read. I read allowed month 5 of the book 7...waste. My heart is content!

Thankful for the time to work with Luke today on laying the flooring...we didn't get far but it is a start!
Thankful for a Brunch with Lily and Joel. Was able to try a pinterest recipe for GF cinnamon roll pancakes...loved them!
The J's have it!!! Joel, Jenny, Joanna, and Janae came and help at the house today. Put the second coat on the bedroom and put together a ceing fan...patched some walls, scrapped windows. SO VERY THANKFUL. My dad built out and drywalled the support for the beam...and my mom mowed the lawn after a month of not doing it. Everyone worked so hard and Luke and I are so blessed and Thankful!!!!!
We had a great evening at the orchestra listening to John Williams great scores!...with some awesome people! Tobe loved his time with Uncle Pants and dancing! Thankful for the chance to slow down and catch up with friends!
Thankful for a walk by the canal in downtown canal fulton. Lots of laughter, jokes, and serious challenges.
Thankful for people who look out for my gluten Allergy. Greg made gluten free turkey meatballs and laura always makes sure there are gf crackers for her cheese tray!!!
Run by Emotions. Sometimes I am completely aware that my emotions and feelings are out of check and I am allowing satan run of the house and I yet...I get stuck. It is days like this that I have to remember a blessing. My check point was both my parents are still alive and kicking and together. I know... that is really the blessing I remembered first!!!

Luke has been working on the electric at the house for awhile. It has been very challenging and I am super thankful he has taken the challenge. It has meant not lights for the last 2 months...which hasn't been difficult to navigate because there are lots of windows offering light and we are normally there during daylight. Well, tonight I went over on a mission after work to sand and paint the bedroom windows and paint the back wall (it is darker then all the others). This little ryobi flashlight made all the difference...thankful for the little light that allowed me to finish...we will see what the room looks like in the light haha.
It is always sad to see friends leave...But always enjoy when Austin and Lorrie come to OHIO. Thankful for the time we had to spend laughing and talking!
