Been such a hectic month Luke and I haven't had any non-rushed time...so this evening we had errands to run and after that nothing for 2 hours!! So he took me to Durbins magic freeze for some black cherry ice cream and good conversation. Thankful for spontaneous moments of ice cream. :)

Luke took me to Whitey's for dinner. I try to have my first stint of gluten in awhile before I go to Mexico city...and I selected Whitey's beer joint burger on a pretzel bun....oh it was so good!!!!

Made dinner for my parents and Luke and then we took some trash out at my Grandmas. Thankful with all the rain that basement hasn't flooded. Thankful to be emptying the house...soon...soon

Sometimes we have days where we don't stop moving...I dread these days, seems like most days lately 5am till 10 pm it is go, go, go faster. Tonight even if for only 15 minutes I got to drop off prune pierogi's to my cousin and visit for a minute...There is no leaving that house without your heart spilling over!!!

Thankful that Luke and I were able to pray this am over the phone for a friend preparing for the loss of his grandma.

I know Luke struggles with play practice and who is he really investing in, he doesn't teach at powerkids, etc. We are constantly looking at where we are investing because we want to be available when God says.... This is one investment he has talked about stopping. However the day of voltage it becomes crystal clear. Luke and I looked at each other and said nope this is where he needs to be twice a year. Thankful for God's direction and the way He is using voltage in my family!!!!!

Thankful for the opportunity to meet a sister of a member in our life group. She was in town for the weekend.

Long days at work followed by refreshing time in chapter 2 of 1 Peter. Thankful for a great group of ladies that are digging into cross references and looking up the Greek word to get the true meaning...makes me overflow with joy!

Mondays are a sign that the fun has ended and it is time to pull up the boot straps and get'er done.

Thankful that Luke invited me into his life. Had a fun time at his Grandparents house talking seeds and gardens and playing Rook. A new card game to me...which was fun...loved the friendly competition. And the rematch coming... L & K are WINNERS.

It is funny how little things can make your day. I truly enjoyed the 15 minutes of hangout time with my mom, brianna, luke, and my brother. It was refreshing to laugh and connect

Sundays usually are my busiest day...but usually the best...today was no different.
Sprung forward excited for it to be lighter later in the day. Started with a great breakfast discussion about our sin. Followed by a great sermon on our sin being revealed and Jesus promise to give new life. Followed by time with Shawn and Lori. So good to hang out with them and talk shop and life!! We met up with Luke's friend Caleb and his wife Jessica for lunch in Polaris before heading to the OSU basketball game. Luke's first OSU experience. It was a terrible game but the team is young ;)
Tiring day and thankful Shawn drove because I dozed off on the way home.

Thankful to go on a double date with my parents to B Spot in Woodmere followed by the Cavs game. It was good for us to spend sometime together alone.

Thankful to have experienced my first ever massage. Not quite what I expected. I thought it would be more relaxing...it was painful working those knots out.

So I was told awhile ago splitting a meal with someone is a sign of being open to pursuit...and here I thought I was just getting an opportunity to try different things or save money.
Thankful for the laugh and little reminder that Luke likes being a "we" today at dinner Luke had already had a plan to split humus and jasmines favorite.

Thankful for the reminder that my life has changed a lot. That God has presented opportunities for me to take small risks in preparing me to take larger risks and all for God's glory.
My life changed when I took a risk and went to Mexico City. Living the comfortable life in Akron,OH not really being challenged only when serving locally at one of our urban partners. God presented an opportunity to go...and I was scared...scared about money, saftey, relationships, my relationship with the Lord, culture shock....you name it I was worried. God shows up, He answers pray, He loves me and has a path set out for me...I can say my life changed because I am getting ready to take my 6th trip back to Mexico City and couldn't and wouldn't want to imagine my life with out all those experiences!!!

Grateful that I was able to work from home again, even though I was getting over being sick it is such a good feeling to work from home.

Thankful today for my father who helped unbury a sofa table on my storage so I could sell it and make some money. It took an hour and a half and I was no help as I was so nauseous. Afterwards he stopped and got roebeks since I hadn't been able to eat all day (I had the flu). Grateful that he was so willing and flexible with his evening to help.

Thankful for a man that goes above and beyond and surprises me. I have been going to Indians home opener for several years with my brother but this year I decided to save my money for the house...super sad day. Luke went and got me a ticket and arranged for my brother to go as well. Feeling blessed. :)
