Day #179

Such a blessing of a day!!!!  I got to spend some QUALITY time with my friend Hannah from Colorado at a quant little local coffee shop in Powell.  I was able to meet Caitlin as well what a happy fun little girl!!!! Thankful that God has blessed us with each other!  She is a prayer warrior, an encourager, and awesome accountability partner.  I feel safe in sharing how truly ugly I can be and know that she is not going to hold it against me.  She is a brave strong woman and I am so glad to call her a friend!!! 

Ended the evening with some Fireworks among friends! Thankful for the relationships God blesses me with!!!

Day #178

Thankful for mini road trips with friends.  Always a good time to learn more about each other and enjoy a "scenic view detour".  Had a wonderful trip to Pittsburgh with friends.  I can't wait for photos!!!

So thankful for the kiddos hearts to give to Urban Vision so they can purchase paper products for a month!  Soccer camp raised $800, 5 weeks of paper products!!! 
Thankful for the laughter and fun of putt-putt.  Grateful for the friends who bent over to pick my ball up for me at each hole!!!

What a fun day to dress up with mustaches at soccer camp!  I love that God values laughter and Fun!!!

Words are so powerful they reach the depths of our soul...they can empower us or literally cripple us!
I have a choice to read and believe God's word and allow it to penetrate my heart and transform my life OR if I can let the lies and untruth's people/devil say to me  rob me of God's blessings. 
Thankful for the Word and God's Truth!!!

Thankful that the rain held out today and we were able to get over half of soccer camp in tonight.  Thankful that Andy made sure the bible teaching was included on our short night!!!
Thankful we are part of God's team...and What a team to belong to!!!

So thankful for my friend Crystal....every year during soccer camp week...she fills in for me so I can keep my original commitment to play volleyball.
Thankful for celebrities that are willing to stop and take photos to make someone else's day!!!

What a refreshing start to the morning, meeting with the ladies who used to facilitate the Beth Moore studies.  We had a fantastic breakfast, wonderful conversation, and lots of laughs!
Thankful for Luke who pushed me outside my comfort zone to do a skit at soccer camp. Thankful for the encouragement and support!

Thankful that we can shed tears together.  When we weep God weeps...When someone you care about is hurting you hurt too...thankful for friendships that mean that much!
Thankful for some awesome Life Group peeps who came out at 10pm to prep for soccer camp!

Thankful that I serve with two great people.  Generally when the three of us get together we are planning/praying/prepping.  Thankful that tonight we could just have fun!!!  What a FUN relaxing evening at the Indians game.

Blessed to have some time to read today. As a kid I loved reading it was one of my favorite past times.... now there are so many things that need done in a day, that I don't often read.  So thankful I was able to read today!!!!  So I am trying to read The Longest Ride, because my friend is reading it, but it is going slow for me....while I have really gotten into The Year of Living Biblically...it makes me laugh.  :-)

Day #168

Thankful for the gentle nudge outside my comfort zone...the nudge to do something difficult.  I am not the best at putting my words in an eloquent fashion...usually they are just jumbled and plain.  So the request to write a poem was like dreadful homework.  But when I think about who God is, it makes the task a whole lot less daunting!!!  Thanks for the push Luke!

 

God is my creator, who formed me from the beginning

He is Creativity

God is the Author of my journey, who is my sovereign guide

He is light in the darkness

God is my savior, who called me by my name

He is Sacrifice

God is my defender, who shields me from the wicked ways of the world

He is Refuge

God is my healer, of all my hurts and hang ups

He is Compassion

God is my rescuer, who pulled me out of a pit of disgrace

He is Protection

God is my restorer, who restores my shattered self-image

He is Rest

God is my warrior, who will fight for me & my heart

He is Justice

God is my but then, who doesn’t let my story end with my failures

He is Patience

God is my rock, when the waters are raging

He is Unchanging

God is my enough, who fills me with grace unending

He is Humility

God is my 2^nd, 3^rd, 4^th, chance, who passionately pursues me

He is Forgiveness

God is my Everything, who fills the whole

He is Love

And I, I am HIS!

I love that God is always telling me just what I need to hear...  "If we can't be vulnerable and needy to the people around us, how can we possible be FULLY vulnerable with our Maker???"
God's economy is not one of independence but of Faith built on immeasurable need!!!!

Thankful that God has blessed me with co-workers who support me 100% and are Christ following individuals.  They give the best advise.  I realized today just how much I am going to miss them!

Thankful I made it through my first week of a new workout routine.  Only 24 more days left in this cycle! Loving the feel of sweat!  :)

Thankful for early morning meetings.  Something about talking about our struggles with being Godly women while the sun is coming up!

Thankful for God's guidance on my trip to Pittsburgh and that it was uneventful! Thankful for my family and all our laughs.  Went to the Akron Rubberducks game with Brad, Mindy, & B.  We had a blast with Brianna...and then we went for Ice cream.  Couldn't have ended any better

so thankful that I was able to hang with my niece.  We had a huge dose of fun....chalk, fairy house building, making/baking/icing cupcakes for Hannah's birthday.  She just loves people what a great reminder!!!

Celebrating my Mom's birthday and Johnny's at Sarah's Vineyard.  So thankful for their support and just the good old plain fun we have when we get together!

So thankful to get together with Erin and catch up...and just talk about relationships and how much God loves us!!!  That we truly are a daughter of the most high!!!!

An amazing lunch with Molly.  Love seeing how God has worked in her life and saved her!  I miss hanging out with this amazing girl every week!  What a great time celebrating her HS graduation!  

So thankful that Mike and Luke stepped in to play volleyball with us...for a 10:30pm game.  Thankful for the fun time playing and afterwards just relaxing!

A fun filled day of Garage sale at my parents house.  So thankful that they offered to host and all the help of setting it up!  It was successful for all three families!!

Today was hard... said good-bye to Carolyn Sielski...she was everyone's mom when we were growing up.  Such a fun spirited lady that Loved with such a big heart!  So thankful for the time that she was here on earth

Today was the last day of the Daughter's of the King series with Garage Middle School gals.   What a wild journey filled with pampering and encouraging one another.  We had a fun activity every month.  Today's was watching s great movie, Cloudy with a chance of meatballs....Thankful that we were all able to see our purpose is to glorify God not to constantly be looking to the world for who we are!

So Thankful for friends who go the extra mile to help me move my stuff to storage...they nailed it...from the tetris packing of the truck to the heavy lifting!!!

So thankful for our life group coaches...had a great meeting with them just talking about Godliness.  Don't want our time to end.
Thankful that our entire family was able to go to the Indians game.  Dot got us all great seats...and it was am awesome game.
Thankful for the girls going to Mexico and that we can be so honest with each other. 
Thankful for homemade ice cream at countrymaid and ice cream chats....Yes...I really want to learn how to wrestle a crocodile!!!

Thankful to spend the day with my Mom, love quality time.   We had lunch at great lakes brewery followed by some great seats at the Indians game.  Always good to get away from day-to-day and catch up.

Unfortunately, I contracted a cold.  Thankful that I was able to lay in bed until 8am.  That is major sleeping in for me! 
Blessed to have my niece spend the night...we always have fun together and I love her dearly...she has such a caring heart!!!

This morning my friend lost her mother.  I always called her Mom S.  She was a loving woman who was so devoted to her family and helping people!  Much of which she passed on to her daughter.  One of my prized possessions is a orange blanket she made me and a scarlet & Gray one...because of my love for the Brown's and Buckeye's!!!  She had the best laugh...she will be missed greatly by so many "kids" as she was an amazing soccer mom!!!
Thankful to have spent time with her...thankful for the legacy she leaves!!

Thankful for everyone who came out to support our mission trip to Mexico city at chick-fila.  It was great talking to so many people... friends and family of those going on the trip and our church family!!

I had to let my job know today if I was going to move to Nashville or find a new job.  It was not as easy a decision as I would have hoped...  Thankful for all the friends and family that prayed for me and who offered objective advise.  I have peace about my decision and am really Trusting God's plan!!!

What a great day to celebrate those who sacrificially give.  I am blessed to know so many people who have served our country and had the pleasure of thanking them!!! 
Enjoyed a picnic at Jim's house and meeting his family and friends...thankful for someone else hosting!
